The Tockit is a place where you can keep your company or customer contacts without affecting your contacts kept in your device. You can call, email, text (sms) share contacts.
First time you open the app it will have empty contact list. In order to start you will need to get MS Excel template file. Go to settings menu and select Get Excel template file in menu. The template file template.xls can be shared (ie. to you email) or can be taken from /taha/tockit/ folder in device memory. After you get the template, fill it with contacts and details. Fill the topmost row in your language or in your style as it will appear in the Tockit having the same text. First column should have unique numbers for each row. Please, notice that email and phone fields are to be filled with phone numbers and email addresses in order to function properly. Save the file in original .xls format. Move the file to your device, go to menu and press Add contacts from Excel file.
Each contact can be assigned with profile picture. Those pictures can be transferred to the above mentioned /taha/tockit/ folder. Naming of picture files is done as follows: take unique number from the first column in the template file and add ".jpg". If your first contact has unique number "1" in your template file, picture file name should be "1.jpg". The final user can add/replace profile pictures by clicking on it.
Put your final Excel list into your device and go to menu-Add contacts from Excel file. You can replace "+" symbol by your company logo or whatever image.
It is possible to update profile pictures and contacts from remote server manually or periodically - find this in Settings.
Users can edit contact details opening contact details page by touching contact. Long press on the field will enable edit mode, click to save icon to save.
